The BASD is a research laboratory run by Shawn R. Charlton, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Central Arkansas.  The lab focuses on research related to human decision-making, particularly for decisions that occur over time and across individuals.

In addition to being a research laboratory, the BASD lab also serves as a research training center for undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Central Arkansas.
